Children admitted to the program attend the center, after school, twice a week for one hour sessions. It takes approximately two years for a child to complete the program. It is important that the families support the child by providing transportation to and from the center and making sure they make all scheduled sessions.
Admission Process: If you would like your school aged child, first grade or above, to be considered for admission into the program, please use the checklist below to be certain that you have included all required items. Children will be considered for admission when all the information is completed and sent to the center director.

The completed application must be returned with a copy of recent psychological (less than 3 years old) and educational (less than 2 years old) achievement evaluations that includes assessment in the following areas respectively;
cognitive ability
reading
spelling
reading comprehension
While we do not require a dyslexia diagnosis, the psycho-educational evaluation and admission application help us determine if our reasoning-based approach would be appropriate for the child.
Important:
All children must be assessed before being admitted into the center. We do not conduct formal assessments as we are not qualified to diagnose dyslexia or specific learning disabilities in the area(s) of reading, writing and spelling.
Our professional staff are specifically trained to work with children with dyslexia. They are only qualified to provide instruction for this type of learning disability.
As such, the center is unable to provide services to children with diagnoses of Cognitive Delays/Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Behavior Disorders, Emotional Disorders or Traumatic Brain Injury, as we are not qualified to meet the needs of these children.
You will be notified as soon as we have reviewed all required documentation and made a determination of your child’s eligibility for this program.
If your child is eligible, he/she will be placed on our wait list which is approximately 12-24 months at this time.
We will contact you when an opening occurs.
