Training Application Process
We offer graduate level training utilizing the Orton-Gillingham based Multisensory Structured Language Education (MSLE) Approach to Reading for individuals who are interested in becoming a Certified Dyslexia Practitioner. While the Practitioner training is free of charge, fees are collected for a mandatory background check and course materials which adds up to approximately $300.

Passion for helping children
Bachelor’s Degree
Completed application
The Orton-Gillingham based MSLE training includes:
A 60 hour seminar over the course of a year
Completion of a 100 hour practicum
Supervised lessons by an experienced Orton-Gillingham therapist
10 hours of observation

The completed application must be returned with copies of the following:
Your current resume
Two letters of recommendation from persons knowledgeable about your professional work
A copy of your Bachelor’s degree diploma or transcript showing the date and type of degree awarded
An in-person interview is required and all paperwork must be completed in order to enroll
